Terrific game today played by our Fourteens. Casey took a spectacular mark in the first quarter. We scored many points that could have been goals, but a great team effort all round. 

Can we also remind all players who are selling the Cadbury fundraiser chocolates to have the money in by 8th August - $58.80 per box.

UPDATED PARENT ROSTER

Please ensure you know your roster dates in advance. If you can’t carry out your duty on the given date, please contact one of the team mangers in plenty of time so that another person can be arranged. Half time oranges are important for our boys, so please do your bit to assist the team as a whole. 

Wet, wet, wet!

Conditions were testing due to inclement weather - especially in the 4th quarter. The boys tried their best, but were defeated by Rockingham 57 to 45.

Congratulations to Taylor Wright who played his 50th game - well done Taylor.

A fantastic effort by the Maggies on another sunny autumn day. We played a much better game than last week, defeating Secret Harbour 61 to 51. Congratulations to this week’s players of the game: Luke, Tristan & Ryan. Ryan played an outstanding game - Congratulations!

Another beautiful Autumn day, but that wasn’t good enough to get us to the winning post. Centrals defeated us 59 to 42. Centrals scored their first goal in under a minute of first quarter. Even though Maggies played a good game and were competitive.  Centrals outshone with their running in numbers, talking to each other and great marking skills. These areas we need to improve on. Today’s match had a few players trying out different positions. Players are asked to think about where they are going to play and look at tactics required for that position.

Note to Parents/Caregivers/Relatives/Friends…

This year, we are being scored with the Enviro Points system. This means that we will have to be cautious of treating the umpires and officials with respect at all times.

Injuries?

If your child has a pre-existing injury, can you please ensure that it is dealt with prior to the start of a game or training session. Our First Aid attendants need to concentrate on injuries etc that occur during the game, They do not have time to strap injuries at the beginning of games. We appreciate your kind cooperation on this matter.
